Research Team 

The research team behind AVLabs represents a powerful composition of individuals trained in chemistry and physics with extensive experience in organic, colloid and physical chemistry.
 
The cumulative multidisciplinary experience of over 150 years of research and development includes knowledge database in separation technologies, printing and coating formulations, photocatalysis, water/gas treatments and high refractive index materials to crystal growth, nanoparticles synthesis, glass and sol-gel chemistry, cement chemistry and coating technologies. 
 
 
 

 
Dr. Asher Vitner / CEO
Asher has 35 year of experience in Biotechnology, separation technologies and nano-technology. Served as a project leader in UniKoor Biotechnology Ltd. and owned and led two Start-up companies, Chemico Ltd and Frutarum Biotechnology.
Asher served for about 20 years as a consultant in Separation technologies and nano-technologies for companies such as Cargill, Tate & Lyle, Staley, Amylum and CJ Cheiljedang as well as, early stage start-up companies.
Received undergraduate and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
 
 
 
 

 

Dr. Matti Ben-Moshe / R&D Director
Matti has over 18 years of academic and professional experience in semiconductor, printing and colloid and polymer chemistry. His major expertise is in material development project leadership as a scientist, team leader and core technology manager. Prior to joining AVLabs, he served in several executive teams of start up companies in optoelectronic, medical device and printing industries.
Received undergraduate degree in chemistry from Tel-Aviv University and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and performed postgraduate work in the University of Pittsburgh.
